Moving PayPal money to GCash, Maya or your bank

  1. In PayPal, convert your USD balance to PHP — GCash cash-in uses pesos. (If PHP isn’t listed, add it as a currency in PayPal first.)
  2. Fastest — GCash: in the GCash app tap Cash In → Global Banks and Partners → PayPal, link your account once, then enter the amount.
  3. Bank — in PayPal, withdraw to your linked Philippine bank, then move to GCash or Maya via InstaPay if you like.
  • • GCash charges 1% for PayPal cash-in (minimum ₱500). Your GCash must be fully verified; matching name/email on PayPal and GCash helps.
  • • PayPal to a Philippine bank is free for ₱7,000 and up and takes 1–5 business days.
  • • PayPal adds a currency-conversion markup (typically 3–4%) when you convert USD to PHP.

Checked September 2026. PayPal and your wallet show the final fee before you confirm.

Tips for members in the Philippines

  • Add your real postal code — many Philippine surveys are targeted by region (NCR, Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao), and your postal code is how partners know where you are.
  • GCash’s PayPal cash-in only works for fully verified GCash accounts. Verify before your first payout day so the money isn’t stuck in PayPal.
  • Longer surveys can time out on patchy mobile data. Start them on Wi-Fi when you can.
